RE: 2024-2025 Schedule
Not sure if it will happen, but coach Savage told me East Carolina reached out wanting to play again. Like most, he was shocked as well.

RE: 2024-2025 Schedule
ECU was our highest $$ guarantee game last year. $90k. (Made $80k for Butler and $75k for Utah St).

RE: 2024-2025 Schedule
The Utah St number is a bit surprising. Given the cost to travel there, probably didn’t pocket much. I do recall Savage saying they wouldn’t be doing that again haha

It was nice to have the prices for those games. Helps me to calibrate my brain on the cost of putting on a game. While I'm thinking about the home schedule and the economics of the games, I can see why it's tough to get good games. Outside of a nearby D2 or NAIA school, we're like!y paying the opponent maybe $50K. Start adding up other expenses and revenues, mid major college basketball doesn't seem like a very profitable business.

We have to buy a few home games. Even if we might lose money on the actual game if we pay someone like USC Upstate $30k to $40k to play hopefully you sell more season tickets if there are some reasonably attractive D1 home games.
